Spa World Party

I’m part of a networking group here in Kalamazoo–professionals from various lines of work–and we recently had our first social event.  Spa World of Schoolcraft threw a little party for everyone and I was there to capture the fun.  Here are couple shots I liked….

I’ve never seen Judge Joe Brown before, but this video made it’s way to me and was too good not to post.

Brides and grooms out there:  don’t be afraid to ask lots of detailed questions!  Your wedding is a one-time affair and your photographer will be capturing the images that will live on for the rest of your life.  So get to know the equipment being used.  Get to know the backup equipment being used.  Don’t even be afraid to ask what he or she will be wearing to the wedding (I’ve seen jeans before).  Ask how they learned photography and how long they’ve been working professionally.  Ask if they use direct flash or bounce flash.  Ask about turnaround time on the images.  You’re paying a lot of money for this service and it’s OK to know what you’re getting!
