Favorites from The Gilmore Keyboard Festival
Today was supposed to be the start of the 2020 Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, an event and organization I’ve had the pleasure of working with since 2011. If this were a normal year, I would have been spending the next two weeks climbing around theater catwalks, enjoying Beethoven and studying world-class musicians to find the epic and hair-raising moments of their performances. Alas, this is not a normal year, so while I listen to some #VirtuallyGilmore in my home office, I am taking the opportunity to look back at some of my favorite images from performances of the past.
