It can be hard to prepare for winter weddings in the Midwest. As expected, the cold temperatures forced us to remain indoors for most Nicole and Jesse’s big day at Weaver Ridge Golf Club in Peoria, Illinois. But I always think it’s worth it to go outside for some portraits if at all possible. So right after the ceremony, Nicole threw on her fur and we ventured out (it was about 14 degrees at the time)—we spent only 3 minutes outside and made it count with these beautiful natural light portraits.

The rest of the day was full of touching moments, fancy florals and lots of fun on the dance floor. Nicole and Jesse have a gorgeous family and I wish them the best!
