Monica and Eric were so much fun to work with! These high school sweethearts have been together for over 9 years and celebrated that with a beautiful wedding ceremony at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, Illinois. Following that, we went to Forest Park Nature Center for a few portraits and then to an amazing property on Grandview Drive overlooking the Illinois River. There, I learned a new word--sabrage! I've photographed over 250 weddings and this was my first time seeing a saber used to open a bottle of champagne--very cool (see the action pictures below)! Finally, we headed to the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette ballroom for a lively reception featuring the Mike Dangeroux Band out of Chicago.
