I was back at Kalamazoo College yesterday to photograph the women’s basketball team against Albion College.  Albion won the game 61-42, but on a brighter note, senior forward Nyemade Cooper (below) was recognized for scoring her 1,000th point as a Hornet.

USC at Notre Dame

USC at Notre Dame

When USC travels to the midwest, I’m there.  I had the opportunity to photograph the Trojans’ game at Notre Dame last weekend.  And what a game it was–down to the last second, literally, with some bad calls giving ND a chance to tie with one second to go.  USC prevailed with a 34-27 victory though, [...]

What a game!

I was in Columbus this past weekend to photograph USC vs. Ohio State, and wow, was that intense! The stadium was packed — 106,000 screaming fans — and it was the loudest I’ve ever heard; my ears were still ringing hours later. Ohio State led the whole game until the last minute when USC’s Stafon [...]

Fooooootbaaaaaalll!

I love football season. I had the opportunity to photograph Western Michigan University vs. Michigan in the Big House last weekend. Western was a bit outclassed, but there was some great side-light as the sun went down…..nothing like a fall afternoon with 109,000 screaming fans!
